Government Mileage Rate 2025 Electric Cars. Hybrid cars can be treated as either petrol or diesel cars for this purpose. The electric rate is reviewed quarterly from 1 march 2023.

Vehicle rates are based on a monthly lease and mileage charge, which includes all maintenance and fuel expenses. From 1 december 2024, the advisory electric rate for fully electric company cars is set at 7 pence per mile.
